Bogor, August 9, 2025 – Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) participated in the Postgraduate Study Promotion Program of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (PSIUMT) Indonesia 2025, organized with the support of LLDIKTI Region IV West Java and Banten, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Swiss-Belhotel Serpong, Jakarta.
The program, initiated by Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), aims to promote postgraduate education in Malaysia—particularly at UMT—among Indonesian students, while also strengthening academic networks among universities in the Southeast Asian region.
UNIDA’s delegation included Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., M.Si (Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences), Faisal Tri Ramdani, S.Sos., M.A.P (Head of the Public Administration Study Program), Afmi Apriliani, S.Sos., M.A.P (International Affairs Office representative), and Wilna Iznilillah, S.TP., M.TP (Secretary of the Food Technology Study Program). During the event, Prof. Dr. Suryani Muhamad, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UMT, shared insights on further study opportunities, available international scholarships, and UMT’s academic facilities.
“This forum is a strategic platform for building collaborations in education, research, and scientific publications, particularly in providing study opportunities for Indonesian students through special programs such as annual mobility programs,” she stated.
Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati emphasized that UNIDA’s participation reflects a concrete step in expanding international cooperation and providing valuable information for lecturers and students seeking postgraduate opportunities abroad. “We view this program as an entry point to broaden our academic network and open pathways for international studies for the Universitas Djuanda academic community,” she noted.
The event concluded with an interactive discussion between UMT representatives and participants on strategies to strengthen cross-border educational collaboration. UNIDA reaffirmed its commitment to actively engage in similar initiatives to enhance academic quality and global competitiveness.
